The music of the future is now! Adam produces raw electric ecstasy. Brilliant mix of trance, goa and beats. Keep an eye on this one!
Well aware of what remains popular, and what is underground, Adam creates a feeling of both worlds with his music. A fusion of experimental beats mixed with a somewhat traditional approach to producing, makes his sound hard to define. One minute it's trance, then breaks hit you, then its all goa. Completely refreshing and mysterious. It was in the underground electronic scene in Toronto where Adam first got a taste of rave vibes. This thriving culture creates an amazing entity of music that is alive in Adam. Beginning in early 1999, Adam first began to try his hand at producing music, this after many years of working in the entertainment industry through film and theater. This switch to creating electronica has got the attention of many already, and is drawing more and more all the time. Adam's latest release is "Pop Fiction", an ambient pop flavored thrill ride through what is electronic. The lead track is remenicant of all those great works of the eighties, topped by today's production quality and style. Well, Adam's style anyway... The opening track "Synthetic" is awesome, as it moves the listener from a total ambient opening into a fast hitting, upbeat journey through breakbeat fused trance. Everyone should hear this album.
...I have been creating original electronic music now for about a year all together, and have grown considerably in that small time. I have been working very hard to literally define what "Adam Law's" sound is, and have come to this conclusion...TRANCE! The new album really is all about that, and Im sure it will be well received. I will always try to remain one of those experimental artists who dabbles in this and that, but for now, what it seems to be is trance based electronica. There really is no description that I can give, but people have called some of it incredible. But just don't take my word for it.
It all started as one thought... and grew into an ambition for creating appealing beats. That forged the start of my musical journey. Growing up in Toronto, Canada, I have always been surrounded by diversity in life. Cultures, styles and music amalgamated within what is now my work. Always an interest in music that saturated my whole life, from performances in musicals, to acting in films, commercials, and theater. This power to entertain and to create 'something worth celebrating' has now spawned this deep look into electronic as a main staple of the musical diet for me, and the world in a new millennium. Adam: ..."The main reason for my drive to do this is love. Love of this music, love of the people who understand it, love of what this 'scene' is growing into.
